On Monday, September 22, 2025, we opened the exhibition Jelly in Porcelain at SENO Atelier in Velké Pavlovice. The vernissage had a slightly pink, cheerful, and even neon atmosphere, which perfectly matched both the title and the spirit of the show.
I officially introduced the exhibition and then asked a few questions to the exhibiting artist Karolina Koblen. Karolina briefly spoke about her work and shared what inspires her in art.
The vernissage also featured works by Dávid Kurňavka, who unfortunately could not attend in person due to health reasons. Visitors can nevertheless see several of his paintings, including two watercolors on paper.
Among the guests was a class from the Elementary Art School in Velké Pavlovice with their teacher – it was wonderful to see young artists coming to absorb inspiration and experience the atmosphere of a vernissage.
I am truly glad that in Velké Pavlovice we are building a tradition of gathering around art. It was a pleasant and inspiring afternoon, and I am already looking forward to the next vernissage.
